President Obama visits Tanzania on last leg of Africa trip

President Obama visited Tanzania on a dual mission to lay wreath for the victims of the 1998 terrorist attacks at two U.S. embassies and plans for a trading alliance with the African country.

The President along with his predecessor President George W. Bush gathered  to commemorate the victims who were killed by al-Qaeda bombings at the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya almost fifteen years ago. 

The Commander-in-Chief also announced plans of a new economic partnership that includes a $7 billion electricity initiative between African countries and private sector that would extend electricity access to nations located south of the  Saharan desert. 

Tanzania was President Obama’s last stop after a week-long trip that included South Africa and Senegal.
