UPPER EAST SIDE, MANHATTAN (PIX11)- A street fist fight in broad daylight brought people to stop and watch it all play out on the Upper East Side. The two men in the video are fighting over a parking spot. It looks organized something that belongs in a boxing ring, but it’s not.
In the video recorded on a cell phone you can hear people shouting at the two to stop.
It all started when one driver tried to back into a parking spot but the driver of the car behind him blocked it. Words were not enough so they put up their dukes and for about 45 seconds they went at it. Finally after causing a traffic jam on 88th Street between Lexington and Third the driver of a van, not involved in the fight, backs up and allows the first driver to park.
On 88th Street police were never called and both drivers just went on their merry way.
