A new polls shows most Americans don’t have a problem with the NSA looking at our phone records and emails. Really?
I think it may be time for a lesson about the fourth amendment to the Constitution. It protects us from illegal search an seizures. There was a time, before we were a country, that the British would enter homes and take property without cause. The fourth amendment stopped that practice and also made it so a judge must issue a warrant based on probable cause before the government could enter your home without permission.
When a judge issues a mass warrant for EVERYBODY without cause, that is a violation of the fourth amendment.
When the government collects your emails without your permission, that is a violation of the fourth amendment.
If we are going to allow our government to ignore the Constitution, we might as just well tear it up.
Still okay with the NSA surveillance?
