LAKEVIEW, LONG ISLAND (PIX11)– PIX11 obtained exclusive video of two pit bulls attacking a man at his Lakeview, Long Island home.

Eric Falconer was working on his front porch on Memorial Day when two pit bulls chased him and bit him about the body.
Falconer said “they could have killed me, I am now nervous every time I leave my home.”

When PIX11 arrived to the quiet Lakeview neighborhood, we found out two pit bulls just attacked another person this morning.

The dogs are responsible for at least five attacks in the neighborhood and are still on the loose.

PIX11 called Nassau County Police when we got a tip on a sighting but it was a false alarm.

Police checked a home a few blocks away from Jefferson Avenue.

Flyers are going around warning people and a homeowner who has dogs that fit the same description of the attacker dogs said his dogs are not the ones in question.

In February, Kashima Sylvester was attacked by two pit bulls, she believes the dogs that attacked her are the same ones that attacked Falconer. Sylvester received several stitches in her head, arm and leg.

Sylvester said, “this owner needs his dogs taken away, I could of died and we don’t want this to happen to a child.”

Police are still trying to track down the owner of the dogs.
