NYACK, NEW YORK (PIX11) — The Nyack School District in Rockland County insists its kids were not in danger when a high school security officer allegedly threatened to blow up the school.
The superintendent of schools said in an email Wednesday, the threat unnecessarily alarmed many parents.
He claims media outlets sensationalized what happened.
Cops charged Kenneth Carter with making a terrorist threat.
They say he made the comments after becoming angry on the job at Nyack high school.
