The Mayor of Toronto, Canada finds himself in the middle of a drug controversy. Reporters with the Toronto Star say they have seen video of what appears to be Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack.

Ford says the claims that he smokes narcotics are ridiculous.

But, there’s apparently cellphone video of the incident floating around.

It’s reportedly being shopped around to news outlets for a hefty price.

The video was allegedly captured by a person who claimed he has supplied crack to ford.

But that’s not his only problem; new claims say his family allegedly sold drugs in the 1980s. Reports say his brother sold hashish. His brother, Doug Ford, currently is a councilman.

Two of Ford’s staffers in charge of dealing with the media have quit.

Toronto police have confirmed that officers interviewed one of them as part of an ongoing investigation.  The video has not been released to the public.

After being accused of using drugs, the mayor apologized to reporters for calling them maggots. He said he has been stressed out.
