Actor Tim Curry suffered a stroke Thursday night, according to the Daily Mail, and is recovering in Los Angeles.

The 67-year-old British actor is well known for his roles in “The Hung for Red October”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and Charlie’s Angels.   Sources close to the Curry deny that he is having trouble speaking, and his longtime agent Marcia Hurwitz told the UK paper ‘Tim is doing great,’ adding, ‘He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor.’

Curry is well-known for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Curry stole the show in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a role that helped launch his career.

Curry is not married and has a home in the Hollywood Hills.  Two years ago the actor had another health scare, when serious asthma attacks that followed a chest infection forced him to pull out of ‘Rosencrantz and Gildentsern are Dead,’ a London theater production.
