The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter is hosting its third annual “Blondes vs. Brunettes” Powder Puff Charity football game on Saturday, May 18, 2013. This flag football competition will raise funds to support the New York City Alzheimer’s community.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.bvbnyc.org or on Game Day at Octagon Field. Individuals who purchased a ticket to the Draft Party will have free admission into the game. Please come out to Octagon Field at Roosevelt Island on May 18th at 12 noon to support the Chapter and watch the game.
The New York City Chapter offers 125 support groups for caregivers, educational workshops, and a MedicAlert ® Foundation + Alzheimer’s Association Safe Return ® Program to help locate individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s who go missing. “Blondes vs. Brunettes” is just one of many events that Chapter holds to promote Alzheimer’s awareness and raise funds.
