NEW YORK (PIX11)- In just 75 minutes, a man held up five Manhattan banks on Friday.
Cops say the suspect was only able to get cash from two of the banks, a lump sum of over $15,000.
The suspect dressed in a New York Jets t-shirt and leather jacket started his raid at 12:50 p.m. at a Chase bank on Broadway and West 96th Street.
He walked away empty handed.
45 minutes later he hit up another Chase Bank just down the street, again walking away with nothing.
His third attempt at a Capital One Bank on West 57th and Sixth Avenue is where he scored $2,500.
Five minutes later he struck the Bank of America on 57th and Fifth, again leaving empty handed.
But he wasn’t done, his last robbery of the day was where he hit the jackpot.
The suspect walked into a Capital One Bank on Fifth Avenue and got away with $12,900.
That’s when he called it a day and ended his spree.
Cops describe him as a white male in his 20’s, about 6-feet-tall and weighing an estimated 180 to 200 pounds.
