A homeless man has been charged with sexually assaulting two young girls in the South Ozone Park section of Queens, according to Queens DA Richard A. Brown.

Lee Samuel, 25, is now awaiting arraignment in the two attacks, and is charged with a first-degree criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child and forcible touching.

On May 1, Samuel walked up to one of the victims from behind while she was tying her shoes, and tapped her on the buttocks, according to the criminal complaint.  A few hours later he approached his second victim and asked if she wanted to play a game.

He told the girl to cover her eyes and stick out her tongue; when she uncovered her eyes Samuel had exposed himself.  He then allegedly “grabbed her by the waist and engaged in a sexual act with her.”

“The defendant is accused of being a sexual predator.  Such an allegation makes him a threat to children and a clear and present danger to society in general.  Such conduct, if proven true, cannot go unpunished,” Brown said in a statement Tuesday.
