Parents at one school in South Carolina are furious with what school leaders did to their kids.

They say the middle school singled out groups of students and called them overweight, even  sending a letter home asking them to attend meetings about weight-loss.

This all took place after the school conducted a health screening.

They found 40 students were at the risk of becoming obese.

What they did next — has parents outraged.

Parents of the students singled out say getting their kids to eat after being publically humiliated has been a challenge.

At least one parent has contacted a lawyer.
