SAN JOSE, Calif. (PIX11) – A California woman has been arrested after she allegedly tried to poison customers at a Starbucks in San Jose.

Police arrested 50-year-old Ramineh Benbehanian Monday night. Officials say earlier that day a customer spotted her removing bottles of orange juice from her purse and placing them inside a refrigerated case.

The customer told employees, who say they immediately noticed a toxic smell and called in police. Cops say the bottles contained a lethal dose of rubbing alcohol.

Officials say they don’t know what the motive is for the attempted poisoning. Benbehanian has been charged with attempted murder.
