OYSTER BAY, Long Island (PIX11) – A neighbor in Oyster Bay, Long Island contacted PIX11 about growing concerns he had about a nearly 100 year old tree in his neighborhood.

According to Robert Franco, the tree cracked in half during Superstorm Sandy and it’s been hanging over his head and a regular school bus route ever since.

Franco contacted the town of Oyster Bay, and got no response–so he called in PIX11.

We sent in our Monica Morales to check out the situation, and she got results.

Check out what happened above.
