WHITESTONE, QUEENS (PIX11)-  Early Thursday morning a family living on 163rd street, including two young girls were sleeping when a home invasion happened.

Police say they were all tied up, held at gun point, and then thrown into a closet as the thieves ransacked their home for jewelry and cash.

An ordinarily quiet neighborhood in Whitestone, Queens will forever be changed after four armed robbers broke into a family home on 163rd street.

Cops say the men terrorized a 7-year-old girl and her 10-year-old sister.

They shoved a gun in the girls’ faces, and then bond the family inside a closet.

The thieves, all wearing black ski masks, stole over sixty thousand dollars in jewelry and twenty-two thousand dollars in cash, according to police.

Surveillance video captured one of the suspects after the alleged invasion.

The family says the men told them to count to 100; that’s when the robbers made their escape.

Police say they aren’t sure how the suspects got inside the house.

They are still investigating and trying to calm a now disturbed neighborhood.
