Charges upgraded in Bayonne home-made bomb incident

BAYONNE, N.J. (PIX11) — Charges have been upgraded for the two men accused of setting off homemade bottle bombs in Bayonne, New Jersey.

21-year-old Christopher Ziobro and 18-year-old Ghaias Mirza were originally facing three to five years if convicted.

But, they’re now being charged with purposely or knowingly causing an explosion.

The added charge means they could face five to ten years behind bars.
