JFK airport evacuation of terminal over tube of toothpaste

NEW YORK (PIX11)- Terminal four at John F. Kennedy International Airport was evacuated Sunday afternoon after authorities found a suspicious package.

It turns out the suspicious package was only toothpaste.

The bomb squad arrived shortly after 4 p.m. making everyone leave the building. No one was allowed back in until 5:15 p.m.

The toothpaste container was duct tapped and had wires attached to it.

No one was injured in the incident.
