BOSTON (PIX11) — The family of Krystle Campbell, one of the victim’s killed in the Boston Marathon bombing, is speaking out on the death of their daughter.
The 29-year old restaurant manager was from a suburb of Boston. She attended the University of Massachusetts-Boston and Medford high school.
Her heartbroken mother gave an emotional statement where she was accompanied by Campbell’s father and brother.
“We are heartbroken at the death of our daughter, Krystle Marie,” she said on Tuesday outside the family’s home. “She was a wonderful person, and everybody that knew her loved her… she had a heart of gold. She was always smiling, friendly. You couldn’t ask for a better daughter. I can’t believe this is happening. She was such a hard worker in everything she did. This doesn’t make any sense.”
Campbell had gone to the finish line to snap a photo of a friend who was running the marathon.
