BOSTON (PIX11) — Authorities have identified the second victim killed in Monday’s Boston Marathon bombing as 29-year-old Krystle Campbell from Arlington, Mass.
According to family members, Campbell who worked as a restaurant manager, was at the marathon with her best friend where the pair were waiting near the finish line to snap a photo of the woman’s boyfriend who was running the race.
It wasn’t clear where along the route Campbell was at the time when the bombs were detonated.
The Massachusetts woman was one of three killed in the terrorist attack that also left 176 injured.
8-year-old Martin Richard, was waiting for his father to cross the finish line when he was killed by the blast that also critically injured his mother and sister.
Details surrounding suspects and a motive remain unclear.
