NEW YORK (PIX11)- Cops have arrested a man for allegedly making threats towards a middle school.

50-year-old Timothy Doherty of Orange County, New York turned himself into police on Friday.

Cops say earlier that day Mr. Doherty received a call from officials at the Highland Falls Intermediate School that his son was in a fight.

Doherty started using racial slurs and said if any student touches his son again it will be “worse than Sandy Hook.” He went onto say that “there’s going to be blood.”

He is facing numerous charges.

Doherty is out of jail on $1,000 bail.
