Martha Hart came to settle with World Wrestling Entertainment for an undisclosed amount in the lawsuit filed nearly 3 years ago.
The June 2010 lawsuit alleged that the WWE was not paying royalties to Hart’s estate and was violating a contract that restricted the use of his name and likeness.
Hart, 34, was a member of a family full of professional wrestlers, including his father, Stu, six brothers and four brothers-in-law.
Wrestling as “the Rocket” or “Blue Blazer,” Hart rose to prominence in the league, then known as the World Wrestling Federation, during the 1990s, winning the King of the Ring title in 1994 and the Intercontinental title in 1997.
He died in 1999 while being lowered into the wrestling ring at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo.
