Alleged crooked cop arrested at JFK

JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11)–17-year NYPD veteran, Jose Tejada was arrested Wednesday at JFK airport and was charged with armed robbery and narcotics trafficking, according to law enforcement officials.

Jose Tejada, 45, was busted for allegedly helping a crew rob drug dealers of at least $1 millions in cash and merchandise in Brooklyn and the Bronx, according to the New York Post.

The robberies took place between 2006 and 2007, where Tejada provided intelligence for the crew to stick up drug dealers, according to police.

Jose Tejada is now facing federal charges, and is will be presented Thursday as US Federal Court in Brooklyn.
