BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (PIX11)– A 16-year-old Brooklyn boy is dead after pulling on a gun on police.
According to authorities two plain clothes officers were patrolling an area of Sunset Park on Saturday evening when they drove by a group of males.
One of the men walked away from the group upon seeing the officers.
When the officers left the unmarked vehicle and walked up to the young man, he pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and aimed it at them.
Both officers fired at the suspect, hitting him in the chest.
The teen was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
