PIX11– A close call for Yankees outfielder Ichiro Suzuki who was involved in a car crash Saturday evening.
According to reports his car collided with another on a highway in Tampa.
Tampa police say Suzuki struck the other car, forcing the driver to hit a third car.
Luckily no one in any of the three vehicles were injured.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman says Suzuki’s interpreter called the club to let them know he was fine.
The Yankees have not commented on whether or not he will miss any spring training because of the accident.
