Food historian and author of “Dolci,” Francine Segan was joined by Chef John Carr from Sfoglia Restaurant to showcase ingredients and dishes which help e a romantic mood on Valentine’s Day. Among the display of known aphrodisiacs—deer antlers—that’s right and PIX11’s Frances Rivera was more than willing to try it. Other foods to get you in the mood are cinnamon, oysters, caviar and hot chile peppers.
Chef Carr of Sfoglia Restaurant whipped up a delectable dessert (vanilla panna cotta) which Rivera was more than happy to taste. His restaurant Sfoglia is located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
