Several hospitalized in NJ nursing home 2-alarm fire

WOODCLIFF LAKES (PIX11) – Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire to break out at a nursing home in New Jersey.

According to authorities, the blaze started just after 2 a.m. at the Sunrise Assisted Living Home on Chestnut Ridge Road in Woodcliff Lake.

Firefighters say heavy smoke filled two floors and a laundry room.

Seven people including two police officers needed to be treated for smoke inhalation.
