The hacker activist group Anonymous says it has avenged Aaron Swartz’s death by hijacking the website of the U.S. sentencing Commission.  The website of the Commission, which is affiliated with the Judicial Branch, was taken over and replaced with a message. It said that “a line was crossed” when Swartz took his own life.  Swartz, the creator of and R-S-S, committed suicide on January 11th.  His friends and family say he was being hounded by federal prosecutors and faced serious jail time because he allegedly posted millions of court documents online for free.
