Less than two years ago Jake Zeldin, 13, aka Lil JaXe, of Toronto was the victim of bullying due to his stutter, now he’s a rapper headlining at Free the Children’s WE day where he is bringing his passion to the stage and showing others who have been bullied they are not alone.

Zeldin, who now has over 1.5 million views on YouTube, has been featured alongside rappers Mos Def and Talib Kweli on Pacha’s Pajamas, a children’s hip-hop album about the environment released in July and has been making frequent guest appearances with rappers in San Francisco and other U.S. venues.

Lil JaXe said, “I am lucky my disability led me to find my talent. It could have stopped me, instead it made me.”

Lil JaXe was joined by LMFAO’s Sky Blu on the PIX 11 Morning News Friday, who he is now collaborating with.
