First there was the pension scam, then the disability scam and now the copper caper.

What is going on at the Long Island Railroad?

Fifteen LIRR employees are charged in a huge scrap metal scam. They surrender in Nassau County.

They’re accused of stealing copper wiring from railroad facilities, then selling it.

Investigators say over the past three years, the ring made over a quarter million dollars.
