Tenants of a Bronx apartment building are demanding compensation after being left without gas for seven months.
The fire broke out shortly after electrical work was done in the building in August 2011.
The fire displaced 14 families and left 58 without gas until February of last year.
After seven months of paying full rent, tenants say they’re entitled to a rebate.
More than 30 tenants are working with the lawyers to seek compensation through the small claims court.
