Well that was fast.

Hours after news broke that Notre Dame football star Manti Te’o’s heartfelt story of losing his girlfriend to leukemia was all a hoax, the meme wizards were hard at work, launching a Tumblr — making “Te’oing” a top trend.

The Te’oing Tumblr went viral early Thursday, and features hilarious user-submitted photos of them, doing whatelse — Te’oing, which basically is posing with an invisible girlfriend or subject in real-life situations.

The memes are taking clear jabs at Manti’s claim that he had a supposed girlfriend, 22-year-old Lennay Kekua, who he met online, but never met in person.

The ‘invisible’ Kekua passed away within hours of his grandmother, he claimed, inspiring him to a stunning 20-3 win against Michigan State on that day.
