NEW YORK (PIX11) – A New Jersey man was arrested and charged in a plot that involved commissioning now-infamous NYPD “Cannibal Cop” Gilberto Valle  to kidnap a woman to be raped and killed.

According to federal authorities, 23-year-old Michael Vanhise was taken into custody Friday for his involvement in the sick conspiracy that officials say reads like a script for a bad horror film.

The criminal complaint says Vanhise reached out to Valle via email chat, offering to pay him $5,000 for kidnapping the unidentified female, delivering her to a location where she would be raped and murdered.

Valle apparently accepted the offer, responding to Vanhise, “Full payment due at delivery.”

The chilling exchanges between the two disturbed men which took place in February 2012, were uncovered by police just a day after Valle’s arrest where authorities searched his apartment and seized laptops and computers.

“Just so that you know, she may be knocked out when I get her to you,” Valle wrote. “I don’t know how long the solvent I am using will last but I have to knock her out to get her out of her apartment safely.”

“Just make sure she doesn’t die before I get her,” Vanhise responded, as if it were an everyday occurrence.

Vanhise was expected to be arraigned Friday.

Valle, an ex-NYPD cop, was formerly charged in October 2012 with one count of kidnapping conspiracy, and one count of intentionally and knowingly accessing a computer without authorization, and exceeding his authorized access, and thereby obtaining information from a department and agency of the United States. His case remains pending.
