Stamford firefighters still cope with 2011 Christmas Day fire that killed family

Firefighters in Stamford, Conn. are still having trouble coping with last year’s deadly Christmas day fire.

Counselors are available — once again — one year after the tragedy.more than 60-firefighters rushed to save a family in a large Victorian home.

The flames and smoke were so thick firefighters were ordered out of the home.

The tragic blaze killed 7-year-old twins Grace and Sarah Badger, 9-year-old Lily Badger and grandparents Lomer and Pauline Johnson.

The girls’ mother, Madonna Badger, an ad executive in the fashion industry, and her boyfriend, Michael Borcina, were the lone survivors.
