A victim of a deadly Taliban attack is getting a second chance at a normal life today.
Little six-year-old Marizeh was shot in the face in Afghanistan a few months ago. She lost her right eye and the bullet shattered her small face.
On Friday she underwent surgery at a Long Island hospital. She will finally be able to breathe through her nose and receive a prosthetic eye. The three procedures took only two hours.
Her father and brother were killed in the attack
