For frustrated Hoboken commuters the wait is finally over. Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday the Port Authority announced via Twitter that limited service will be restored between Hoboken and 33rd St. starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday and running until 10 p.m.
Superstorm Sandy flooded the Hoboken Station on Oct. 29th, causing extensive damage and knocking out all service.
According to the Port Authority, service from Hoboken to the World Trade Center is still weeks away. Passengers can transfer to a Journal Square train at Grove St.
