In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, a rescued Christmas tree is lifting spirits in one New Jersey town.
It’s called “The Tree of Hope” and it’s filling people with lots of hope in Union Beach.
The town has made the tree its own, decorating it with hand-made ornaments and hand-written inspirational messages.
The artificial Christmas tree was found in the gutter with other storm debris a few days after Sandy slammed the Jersey Shore.
Union Beach was one of many towns that suffered major damage from the storm surge and flooding.
